Construction was started by Frank Verzillo in 1968. Frank began
building residential homes on his own, from start to finishing,
fostering quality construction at a reasonable cost.
1984, Frank acquired a locally operated concrete company, Rite-Way
Forms, Inc., in order to streamline foundation services to his

in the 1980's through the early 1990's, and eventually shifted
to building waterfront residential properties throughout
the 1990's. This focus continues to the present day.
2001, Frank began seeking alternatives to stick-building by turning
his attention to modular construction and its many advantages.
Frank recognized that a collaboration between V&M Construction
and modular home manufacturers could provide customers with one-stop
shopping, an array of options in terms of level of construction
interior products and services, all while reducing the costs, timeframes
and resources involved. Thus, in 2002, he formed Creative Components,
Inc., a modular subsidiary of V&M Construction, as a means
of expanding the company's building capacity.
Frank's vision grew, so did the size of his company. V&M
Construction has blossomed from a one-man show to a staff of 30
construction professionals and three administrative staff. Frank
decided to step out of the "field" limelight and assist
his daughter, Marissa, with clientele and office management. He
relies on his
project coordinator, Paul Baker, who has been with the company
for over thirty years, to navigate company growth and apply new
and materials, as well as staying ahead of building trends. Most
foreman have been with V&M Construction, for over fifteen
years and complete education classes hosted by the Rhode Island
Builder Association annually. With hard work and dedication, the
